Mike Morter began his career as an Electronics Technician at Siliconix UK in 1970, later heading up an in-house test equipment group. Relocating to Siliconix corporate headquarters in 1978, Mike continued to design test equipment and was soon promoted to Test Manager. TMT partners sold the company to Credence in May of 2000, at which point Mike retired. In May of 2006, continuing to follow his passion for ATE start-ups, he co-founded Focused Test Inc. in order to design and manufacture a premier power discrete and power IC test system, the FTI 1000.
